Plateau Katharo

For mountain and nature lovers, a visit to the plateau is a must. Thousands of sheep and goats are bred on its slopes, providing milk for the area’s excellent dairy products. The plateau is of particular scientific interest, as researchers – palaeontologists discovered fossils of pygmies, hippopotamus’ and elephants.
